Policies and Procedures: Soccer Shots Baltimore-Washington Region

REFUND POLICY:

• • Refunds or credits will not be issued for cancelled sessions or seasons due to natural disaster, government emergency, health crisis or force majeure (act of god).
  • Refunds for the Season Price will be provided as follows:
    • • Refund requests received 14+ days prior to the scheduled class start date = Full refund
      • Refund requests received within 0-13 days of the scheduled class start date = Full refund, less a $50 refund fee.
      • Refund requests received 1-13 days after the scheduled class start date = Prorated refund equivalent to the number of classes remaining in the season, less a $50 refund fee.
  • No refunds or credits will be issued after the third scheduled class date.
  • All requests for refunds must be made in writing and emailed to a Soccer Shots representative at baltwash@soccershots.com
  • The Annual Enrollment Fee is non-refundable
  • Refunds will not be issued for failure to attend a scheduled class.
  • Should Soccer Shots find it necessary to remove a child from a class, a refund will be issued equivalent to the number of classes remaining in the season.
  • No refunds or credits will be issued for failure to attend a make up class.

PAYMENT POLICY:

• With monthly installment option, a deposit is charged to your credit card at the time of registration. Your credit card on file will be charged the installment amount on a monthly basis from time of purchase, until the balance is paid in full. If a final payment amount is due, your card will be charge the remaining balance 7 days before the season end date. All recurring payments apply on a season by season basis and you will need to re-enroll for each individual season.
• If your account has an unpaid balance from a previous season, the outstanding balance must first be paid in full before continuing in the current season. In this case, any payments submitted for the current season will be credited to the previous season until the account balance is paid.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY:

• Soccer Shots plays in rain when temperatures are above 50 degrees. While we can’t always predict the weather, we work hard to try to make the best decision for the children. Soccer Shots will make every effort to determine the status of class no later than 1.5 hours before the scheduled start time of class, based on available hourly weather forecasts and field closures beyond our control. We will cancel classes due to adverse weather conditions with short notice or while class is in progress if the safety of the children is in question. If we do cancel a class, we will notify you via email and/or text message.
• Specific to Private [Daycare/Preschool/After School] Programs: Whenever possible, we will use indoor space during inclement weather. If there is no indoor space available, Soccer Shots, together with the school director, will determine the status of the class. If we do cancel a class, we will notify you via email and/or text message.
• We will use the email address and phone number we have on file for cancellation updates. Please check your security and spam settings to allow emails from Soccer Shots. If you use Gmail, please make sure to check the promotions folder.

MAKE-UP CLASSES AND CANCELLATIONS:

• Soccer Shots will hold the week following the last scheduled class as an inclement weather make-up date.
• Inclement weather cancellations will be made up as follows:
• 1-2 classes cancelled due to inclement weather = 1 make-up class added to end of season
• 3-4 classes cancelled due to inclement weather = 2 make-up classes added to end of season
• In the event of inclement weather on a scheduled make-up class date, there will be no additional make-up dates scheduled.
• Individual make-up sessions are not provided for failure to attend a scheduled class.
• Soccer Shots reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment. Upon cancellation, a refund for the cost of the season will be provided.
• If a session or season needs to be canceled for any reason, Soccer Shots may provide alternative programming as a replacement such as, Soccer Shots On The Go or a virtual session.

PICTURE POLICY:

• In a concerted effort to safeguard our families’ digital privacy rights, Soccer Shots employees will not take pictures of participants. Parents are welcome to take pictures of their own children, but we ask that they consider and respect other families’ privacy.

ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL POLICY:

• Parents must sign out children from after-school programs at their childcare center. Parents are expected to arrive a few minutes before the session is complete.
• If your child is to be picked up by someone other than yourself, please note authorized pickup person on the registration.

This is applicable for any Soccer Shots session in the following counties and cities in DC, MD, or VA: Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Baltimore City, Carroll, Howard, Harford, Fairfax, Frederick, Loudoun, Montgomery, Prince George's, Prince William, and the District of Columbia.
